Default Chrome Blue Wrap

Sup Z bros!

So I wanted to get my car wrapped for a few reasons. First, I felt like it would be a great scratch protective solution. And second, I wanted a new look that would be self appealing as well as turning some heads. Im doing most of the install myself and will be getting some help with the bumpers by a friend who wraps for a living.

The color I went for was a chrome blue. Reasons being was because its an eye popping color, I like the color blue and chrome, and I no one that I know of and online has a chrome blue 370z.

I ordered the material off ebay along with some black carbon fiber for the spoiler and mirrors. I attached a few pics so you guys can have a better understanding of what the outcome may be. Also, should I wrap the roof black or leave it chrome? Also, anyone here that wrapped in chrome or any color in general have any tips and suggestions?

Thanks and let me know what you guys think. Pictures will be uploaded once installed.

There are many people that sell their Z and stick around the forum for the community. However, most of them contribute in more intelligent and courteous ways than that

I read his comment and then noticed that he apparently traded the Z in for a Maxima

I love the blue chrome. Very similar to the Monterey Blue with that sweet chrome bling.

Now I would never wrap my car with it - way too much for me. But everyone has their own taste, and he can do whatever he wants with his own car. I would take a scale model (maybe ~1:20) in that color for sure

Do you have anything else done to the car? May look a bit odd if everything else is stock IMO

In for pictures of the finished product

Mostly stock. Speed daddy exhaust. Door nissan logo projected lights. Galaxy tab 4 cubby install.

Only had the car for a couple months, taking everything slow.

Please don't wrap your Z in chrome blue when everything else is stock. Cringe.

Also, don't wrap your Z at all. A wrap is not paint protection. Its temporary and should be removed in 18 to 24 months, otherwise it might not ever come off without destroying your paint or clear coat. Also, ensure whoever does the work, is using premium materials.

Why don't you use something thats not so permanent, and can be peeled off easily, like Auto Flex?

Part of the reason im doing it is because Id like to wrap it myself. The material used is decent, not 3M but not chinese either. Its called VViViD. Its not going to be a permanent thing, maybe after a couple months, ill change to matte black. All the material is only costing me $230 shipped after getting a 20% discount. Plastidip would be nice but too much for my budget. Im a graduating college student.

I'm not sure you know what you're getting yourself into. You get what you pay for with vinyl.

Wrapping a car is not something you just do when you're bored. Its a lot of work, and takes a lot of skill.

Your shortcut by buying junk vinyl could result in ruining your clear coat, or never peeling when the time comes.

Listen to the people on this forum who are trying to offer you advice to help you out.
