Anyone have any experience with this kit?

guess not.

I'd guess that the cheaper film is thinner and more prone to the dreaded yellowing that happens over time but don't have any direct experience myself. I went the suntek route and had a local shop wrap basically the whole front half of my nismo. Maybe see if any other kits the seller offers has a review?

Mind telling the price for that? I need this done after I get my front end repainted... damn rock chips and whatnot.

I think it came in around $1,100 including the pillars and basically every part of the bumper. Looks great and gives me much more peace of mind driving around in MN.

Totally understand wanting to protect the Nismo and I'm sure Min. roads are pretty brutal. Still, ouch!

i usually buy my pre-cuts from autopaintguard.com


but i recently found a local tinter/clear bra installer dat carries xpel and 3m precuts so probably will just buy local from now on.

btw, if u can find an installer dat does installs from the rolls, i recommend u go dat route.

pre cuts are good for very complicated contours but for a car like the Z, it can be easily done from a roll.

Man, hefty price... but I guess it's worth it not having to worry about rock chips all the time.

Yea, I thought the same when I was looking into it but after getting quotes in my area these guys were the best priced and do excellent work. Self healing + 5 year warranty. 10/10 would do it again.

You're about an hour and a half from Clear-Pro in Murietta, one of the best installers in the country. If you decide to let an expert do it for you, you should check them out. It cost me $900 a few years back when I bought my 2012, for the hood (that's the entire hood), front bumper/facia, headlights, front fenders (half-covered) and mirrors, using 3-M Venture Shield cut by a computer controlled cutter for perfect fit b

One thing if you decide to buy the kit you linked to: see if they can supply a piece that covers the entire hood. The piece shown in their diagram is known as a "bikini cut" and the line crossing the hood from left to right is quite noticeable and will probably bother you.

Amazon has one cut like that for $290.
