side embloms

Has anyone tried to make the side embloms stay on while lights are on? And are the lights bulbs or leds? Thanks.

That would require bulb socket conversion for a double element bulb, and rewiring. I don't know of or heard of anyone doing this so far, this is a fairly new vehicle, the side markers are bulbs. If I'm wrong someone correct me!

They are LEDs on my UK car. If you give them a constant power source they stay on.

Here is what they look like inside (these are UK but I don't see why the US cars would be any different).

You can see how there are actually 2 PCBs with amber LEDs installed. I guess you could wire one into the side lights for constant illumination and the other into the existing turn light. If you wanted to take it a step further you could change the internals completely, there is a lot of room in there.
