Repairing very minor slice in vinyl?

My heart sank a little today when I was cleaning my seats today. I found this: It's not all the way through the fabric backing, so I don't know how

Default Repairing very minor slice in vinyl?

My heart sank a little today when I was cleaning my seats today. I found this:




It's not all the way through the fabric backing, so I don't know how to repair it. All the patch kits involve slicing it open, or patching above.

I was looking at the Loctite liquid vinyl glue because it's flexible. Others have suggested shoe glue. Can someone weigh in?
