Anybody know what these are for?

Why would any company make rims that big and that ugly? And why would a company make tires to fit those rims?

Interesting. I have one installed on the passenger side, but not the drivers side. I changed out my spark plugs this weekend and was cleaning the MAF sensors and dropped one of the MAF screws, and when I was removing the underbody tray to recover that screw, the drivers side had the bolts for that part. I thought the previous owner had scraped on something and it sheared off. Is that part supposed to be on both sides?

*Edit: Now that Im thinking about it, I cant remember if it was on the Drivers or Passengers side! (Ive been up since 2am "working" and the coffee is wearing off)

Anybody know what these are for and if they're supposed to be attached to the car somewhere?

I've also been thinking of taking these air guides off. They always scrape on my driveway and sound terrible. Looking at the under body, these guides sit much lower than anything else. I can't imagine they really help that much with fuel economy/air flow.

Maybe I'll do a little test to see if there's any fuel economy impact...

Those fugly rims on the mustang..... wow....

When I picked up my 2018 sport, the dealer left the those parts uninstalled and said many customers don't like them. I've been wondering how much it really helps with air flow. The scraping noise would drive me nuts, and since I am not in my 20's anymore I don't see myself driving over 100mph.

Not to derail this thread but that mustang would be considered a "Donk". Not my thing, to each their own, google "Donk" and see many examples.
