Default Need a front license plate mount

I purchased my 09 370Z used from a state that doesn’t have a front license plate requirement. I live in a state that requires a front plate. I call my Nissan dealer and they want $100 for the front mount. Seems a little steep for a piece of plastic. I have seen the real generic ones at local auto parts store for $4, but I would prefer one that is perhaps more fitted for the Z. Does anyone know where I can get a cheaper OEM type mount or after market mount that will fit the vehicle? Or has anyone successfully used some type of generic mount and been satisfied?

Run without it as I do in Illinois...............! Did it for 7 years on my 350 and for more years with my early 90's Impalas.

Isn't this supped to come with the car? Mine did (haven't put it on...)

I know some Ferrari guys that have a removable mount for when they get fix-it tickets. It's a bracket that screws into the front tow hook slot. I tried to get one for my car but the slot seems to be unusually large in diameter and thread size.

I have mine too but I haven't put it on either. Don't plan to unless I get pulled over for it and get cited...
