OEM spoiler dealer install question 2014 Z touring

I just had the dealer install a spoiler on above vehicle and I was surprised at the color match it looked patchy and also when entering the car viewing the spoiler from the drivers side door I can see there is a gap and I see what appears to be white double sided tape? Is this normal because seems strange to me......

Go to the dealer lot and look at another one that has the spoiler from the factory, to compare. Then you can show them how it should look.

Mine was just installed this afternoon. They use a combination of bolts and double sided tape. My car is black and I can see no tape on mine. If you can see the tape, I'd say they need to redo the install and correct that.

They didn't quite center it perfectly on mine. You have to look really close to tell, and be looking for exactly that, but I know it. Undecided if it will need to be redone or not. If I'd suspected it wasn't going to be perfect I'd have just got the part from them and installed it myself.

The service advisor also mentioned to me not to wash it for a couple days while that two sided tape cures.

Have them do it until it's right, you paid for it!
