how do you turn on the HID's? and does every car have them?
|
DRLs are different from xenons. DRLs typically run at half or low power thus the yellow light. You could change the DRLs to a whiter bulb, but they will still be a bit yellow due to the low power. They would only show as white or become brighter when you "flash" someone assuming the xenons are not activated during flashing.
I don't like aftermarket additions, but I do like the LEDs found on Audis. A much better solution compared to typical DRLs. |
^^^ you will like an ironman mod then for sure.
|
That's exactly what I want. I want LED DRLs like the Audis. If it's yellow and it's not LED then forget it. Not into those.

ak that is sooo dope

I'd rather have LED's in that vertical chrome strip in the headlight parallel to the hood line.
|
^^^ That can be done. I'm thinking of doing the same. I'd be rerouting the DRL to that strip if/when I do it.

I'm thinking I want BOTH the strip and the current DRL to be on during the day. I'd change the bulb to a Hyper-White LED setup and run smaller hyper-whites to the strip. That way when they're on it will look freaking amazing.

What are the drl's?

What will you need to do to get the LED's set up?

Not sure. First I'll need a 370! LOL
I need to pull that housing out and see what materials they used. I'll also need to get some metal work done (I'm terrible with metal work) so we'll see. |
