2013+ DRL Bumper on 2010 Touring Base
Hey guys -- been on the road traveling a few years with my Z parked in my garage back home. Just got back on a more permanent basis and am super jealous of the new Zs driving around with their fancy LED DRLs.
I'm tempted to trade my 2010 Z in for a new one with the sports package but decided upgrading the bumper to have the new LED DRLs would probably suit me just fine. I have issues with being able to wire in the DRLs myself and have seen multiple forum posts for this...and I'll probably figure out my own way anyway. So, some immediate questions as I'm deep diving in my project research: 1) Are the 2013+ front bumper covers direct bolt-ons to the 2010? If not, what modifications am I looking? 2) I do not know the difference between the front bumper with and without the sports pacakge: with: BUMPER COVER for 2013 Nissan 370Z|FBM22-3GY1H without: BUMPER COVER for 2013 Nissan 370Z|FBM22-3GY0H I assume I need to get the base...but do both bumpers come with slots for the DRLs? Thanks! |
1) Yes.
2) The only difference might be the little black air damn for the sport package. |
A word of caution to you Zengineer.
Be sure to check the cost of the LEDs if you want to go OEM. LAMP ASSY-DAYTIME RUNNING RH for 2013 Nissan 370Z|26600-3GY1B from a friendly 2013 owner |

Thanks guys! Yeah, I can't believe how expensive they are...not quite sure what makes them so pricey..just LEDs. I found some used ones on the cheap..I just really like the new OEM look....now to find a bumper cover! |
