FEELER: TWD wide body kit.

Hey Everyone,

So we have so many of these over fenders that it drives me freaking nuts... I cant stand the look of over fenders... This is what prompted me to design and build my kit the way I did. A true wide body that has an oem look while providing the needed width for users. Following Zdayz I will be looking into having my kit reproduced and available for the market... A true wide body kit!

Some specs on my kit:
Front Fenders:
-Width + ~50mm/ea
-Has an adapter to mate to any stock line bumper.
-It is designed based off of proven aerodynamic designs used in JGTC. The design basically pulls air from the wheel wells and under the car and channels it around the side of the vehicle giving you additional downforce versus a stock fender.

Side Skirts:
-Based off of the ZELE japan kit this customized sideskirt will mate up to my wide body.
-Optional Carbon Plate side skirt diffuser will be available.

Rear Fenders:
-Width + ~75mm/ea
-Will need to be used with my provided side skirt or you can make your own.
-Tapers 2" at the bottom and ramps up to 3" at the top.
-For the rear bumper I will be developing a carbon fiber adapter to blend with the rear bumper of your choice.
-There are two options:
+I can make these as quarter panel replacements which will require more labor.

or
+I can make this as a bolt on item that attaches further away from the wheel arches and will save you money on install.

Rear Diffuser:
-I have a one off Difflow style diffuser.
-I will be looking to make a carbon version of this diffuser.
-It will come with its own hardware.
-Please note this will not fit exhausts like Fast intentions which hang really low...

Pricing:
I will not have pricing until after the molds are made. I will come back as a vendor once this becomes available. But if I had to throw a swag at it I would say expect the cost to be around $4K for everything. Again this is a SWAG and until the molds are made I wont know the cost.

Availability:
TBD

Materials:
In order to make this affordable the best bet is to do a mix of FRP and CF. However, there will be options for full carbon.

Fitment:
I will be offering a fitment guarantee and each kit will be serialized to your order so you know you will be getting my authentic kit.

Also everything will be made local to me to ensure a proper QC.

Wheel Fitment:
F:20x11 (ET -21) 275 series tire
R:20x12.5 (ET -27) 315 series tire

Well hopefully we can drive more interest.

Your car is on a different level.

Cool idea and absolutely cleaner vs the add-on. For the front fenders, any thoughts of making the notched section optional? The physics of drawing air to the back will also include a lot of debris..... lots of it.

I was thinking of making a carbon fiber cover like j's racing does for the s2000. That should do what your wanting.

This would be awesome but hopefully not to much to break the go fast fund.

Keep the votes coming. The more votes I get the better gauge I have on whether I do this or not.
