Anyone using Autoflex yet? Plans to?

Anyone out there done an Autoflex job on their 370z? Or have plans to?

I know its starting to get out in the market now that spring is here, after a release late last year. Looking forward to seeing an AF job in person soon.

It sprays like paint, needs a full deal compressor spray setup etc and ventilation. More of a professional product than regular "plastidip" which is still great, but for the DIY more so than this stuff. But AF remains just as peelable as dip does.

I know the clear sprays heavy like automotive clearcoat, can be wet sanded, waxed, and polished etc. Its crazy.

Pretty much makes vinyl obsolete.

A friend and I dipped my jeep grand cherokee in 2013, 6 full coats, peeled right off cleanly. Hopefully get my wheels done on my 370z in a gloss AF this spring or summer.

The attached pic is gloss AF.

Thought I'd share my outcome with Proline, not AutoFlex. Proline is a DYC product as an intermediate coating.

Remember the product is only good if the tech knows what he's doing. I've seen and heard of horror stories with autoflex just like there are with vinyl wrap

Did my 2016 Civic in Autoflex last summer. ZTM hypershift pearl. May do the Z. As said, product is only as good as person doing it. Good product. May require to have cut, buff andnpolish afterwards. Just keep in mind, whatever imperfections are in your paint will show up with the Autoflex..ie orange peel..hence the prof detail which maybe needed and not included in the price..My 3 choices for the Z are in Autoflex ZTR, ZTZ or ZTK Hypershift...BTW, I love the ZTR 911 Porsche..Also, ZTS on that GTR is a great color also...and popular.. checkout KPPigments and Didspade products. Also can check out Pearls and Pigments on Facebook and Instagram For lots of examples as well as Dip Your Car.com (DYC)
