Default Bi-Xenon HID to LED Headlights?

Hello fellow Z-owners,

I was wondering if anyone here has done or thought about doing this type of conversion to our headlights.
I tried searching the forums and came up empty.
I found this setup below that is a direct replacement of our Bi-Xenons bulbs for LED ones:

Dual Beams: D2S Full LED Headlights Kit for Nissan 370Z with HID 2014: LED Headlights Kits - LED Conversion Kits - FREE Shipping & Lifetime Warranty | LedHeadlightsPro.com

Not sure if they're reliable or not but its certainly something I will consider doing if its legit.

Chime in everyone!!

So I have some experience with LED bulbs from my other cars.... Not worth it really the few I've tried the beam patterns are odd and most dont actually gain you any visibility led headlights are designed very specifically and I have yet to find led drop in bulbs that are any better than a good "HID" system

Actually someone buy these I'm curious if the same will apply to our cars

Astro932 is correct. LED projectors are specifically made for LED's so it wont work well in a HID projector. You will more than likely have more output with the current Koito projector.
If more light is what you are looking for, look into the Osram CBI bulbs and do the STI clear lens swap with proper spacing for best output. If you are doing this, you must also grind off the tab on the cut off shiled for 370z projectors. 350z has a similar problem too but with a dremel, its not a problem. By far the best combination. No clue what im talking about? then times to do massive research on HIDplanet.com
The world of LED headlights is advancing greatly but is still quite behind in terms of perfection. I don't know of any Bi xenon LED headlights yet. LED headlights from what I know is a great advancement for hybrid and full electric vehicles due to its low amperage draw.
But hey, if you end up buying it, post up some pics.

Too bad our cars don't have the market for parts the 86 has a set of LED replacement headlamps from intec! I loved my intec tails but the $5k headlights were a bit to much for me

The world of headlights retrofits is amazing. Heres my old Z with headlight work that I did. Again, if better output is what your looking for, LED is not the way to go for our cars.

I guess I didn't upload any of the projector work I did on the 350z but you can find a find some online. You get the idea though of customization that can be done.

The last pic is the lens that you would change and adjust with spacer to increase/decrease the distance from the bulb to the lens. you do this to produce this, a sharp cut off. This example shown doesn't have much color mod on the cut off line :

Yea, I would love something like that done but I'm not that crafty on doing it myself.
Seems like our headlights doesn't put out that much light, which is why I asked about the LED mod.
I guess I'll have to shell out some pretty pennies to get it like your last picture with better light output.

I tried the LEDs...from that website for my wife's Juke and the light was bright but the lighting on the road was horrible...so bad that we went back to the OEM stuff. Also wouldn't buy from that website. They claimed plug/play for the Juke but it wasn't...required modification so I requested my money back which I eventually got, but had to mail the package back to a French Canadian address which was fishy at first.

I put a set of LED headlight bulbs in my Mazda 3 DD. One of the issues with the LED bulbs is that there is a fan attached to the back of the bulbs. On cars I have owned in the past, there is usually a round plastic cover that you need to take off, and then you can remove the lightbulb. I didn't realize about the fan on the back of the bulbs, but luckily on the Mazda, there is no plastic cover (the bulb has a rubber O-ring gasket to seal it from the elements). I haven't checked if there is even room to install these in the Z, but chances are if there is a plastic cover, this will have to be left off, and then there is no protection from the elements for the bulb and headlight.
As far as light output, if you look at LED bulbs, there is only one LED bulb on the headlight. There really needs to be two (one on each side). As others have mentioned, LED projectors from the factory are specifically designed for LEDs, whereas our HID projectors are not. When the bulb is on, there is more light output in front of the car, but less as the distance increases. I think when there is finally a bulb that has a LED on each side, it might be a lot better. Just my
