I've discovered something regarding custom tail lights on the Z. Anything other than OEM looks a little tacky, unfortunately. I think it has something to do with the shape of the tail lights. The only mod I've seen that I like is tinting. Apart from that, not for me.

depends on level of modification to the body
the closer to stock you are, the closer to stock your lights should be
