Seat Heaters

Has anyone tried their seat heaters yet? I can hardly tell that mine are working, even on high. Took it to the dealer yesterday to see what was going on. They said, because the heating element is on the bottom of the seat, and there is so much seat between it and me it just does get real warm.

they take a sec to warm up and also to break in. Also the High mode cuts on and off to maintain a certain temp... A safety feature I would guess. Also I love my heaters just give them time to break in like drive for a couple of days just leaving them on.

^^ good advice.

Iv'e found the heating/cooling system to do so well that I rarely use the seat heaters. On occasion though, the seat heaters have been very nice to have.

Looking forward to using them in April during the initial track days.....windows down, cooler weather .....great combination.

Mine works great...especially if you're sore from busting your *** all day.

mine take about 5 minutes to feel the effect. even on a warm day, its funny to click it on to a unknownly passenger until they start acting funny bc they cant figure out why their *** is hot :icon18:

On the rare cold mornings here in La, I use them, and they warm pretty good in low, no problems here.

No problems here, warms up within a minute or two and even on low it's warm enough.

I used mine the other day, it gets nice and toasty, then drops back, then gets toasty again - this is with it on high. Apparently there is a thermostat involved somewhere...

Didn't bother with it on low as by the time I made this mental note, I reached my destination.

I found that in winter, mine heat up quicker than the heater so I use them all the time. Takes about a minute to feel the effects. In warmer weather you possibly would not notice much of a change as the seats are already reasonably warm.

I know this is old, but.... in my z i rarely use seat heaters. Today the passenger seat heater was turning on, got warm and then turned off. It wouldn't turn on unless the drivers was on at the same time. If the driver didn't use his heater then the passenger side would not work. Normal?
