so the wrap goes around the entire seat, or is it just blue cloth on the insert?

covers the whole seat front and back. The black part is actually a little more plush than stock too and I think its real suade and maybe real leather.

very nice..i have the monterey blue as well with leather seats..so i was just thinking getting the fabric area to be blue..how much did you pay for that?

It actually looks better in person, the pics are kinda bad but I like to be different and like my car to be a little different. I dont know how much it costs cuz it was part of the deal to get me to buy the car so the dealer paid for it. Its Catzskinz and it completely relaces the stock covers.

Katzkin I'm guessing? I'm planning on doing something similar but with a dark red.

Yes Katzkin is the company. They have about 3 to 4 set patterns you can choose from, ie some of the inner panels or all the inner panels etc. and Im guessing a computer does the rest and they just ship it out and the install place just puts them on. Since I had the Touring model they actually had to use the 350Z pattern for the bootom seats due to the electric seat controls being there and used the 370Z pattern for the upper part of the seat.

I know the colors not for everyone but thanks for the thumbs up.

i'd go for it if there was just a way to replace the cloth in the middle of the touring seats to color match. then at least my shifter's not the only thing with red accents!

too much blue for me but it looks good! - i wouldve probably just done the door inserts. not a big fan of the z on the headrests either but im sure it looks great in person.

question - not sure if you answered this already but is the black leather stock or is that part of the new covers? looks a little "loose" (im probably using the wrong word) compared to the stock leather. im sure it'll settle with time though.

The Z's in the headrests look great in person.

The black which is leather is a little more plush than the stock seats and will show some wavyness but thats why you dont want to go all leather or you will get the saggy pants seat. With just the outline in leather it wont get any worse and they do feel softer than the stock ones so the new seats probably have a little cushion to them too. The whole seat material was replaced and now instead of senthetic suade and leather its all real.

Maybe its the pics that dont show it well, but i like the perforated suede inserts in the stock Z better. it has a sportier feel to it than those. the blue looks good though. im sure in the daytime its :tup:
