It didn't I checked the fuse today and try disconnecting my battery too. But when the other member said look at a voltameter, he's talking about the device not the gauge on the car correct?

Yes you need to use a multi-meter such as this & start looking for voltage drop

NP. As Ghost said take a reading at idle & get your voltage off the battery with no accessories on Should be >13 volts. Then turn everything on, all lights a/c on full & radio to provide as much currant draw as possible. If the idle increases & the voltage on the battery drops, it means that you alternator is not charging enough. The revs are probably increasing trying to generate more charging power from the alternator because it is not keeping up.

Update : So I did the voltage check and it seems to stay the same. It's something with the tailights fuse for sure. If I remove it, it works fine and when the fuse is back on and I turn on the lights, it goes into limp mode again. Any other suggestion? I already restated the battery if that helps.

Well the fuse itself is not going to cause a problem. You have something corrupted on that ckt.

Answer these questions & begin the ghost hunt:

Are your lights factory, or FUBAR Moded?

Is there corrosion on the ckt wiring (possible water damage, unscrupulous dealerships love to take flood damaged cars from hurricanes & what not & push them off to other parts of the country for some unsuspecting sucker to pay full price for)?

Did some homebrew electrical wizard tie some garbage mod into this ckt?

In short (maybe literally) you've got something screwing up that ckt if everything is running fine with the fuse pulled.

Good hunting.
