behind the seat carpet removal

Do anyone know how to remove the carpet portion behind the seat? I spilled something sweet on there and would like to take it out to wash it off. Explanation with pictures will be appreciated. Thanks

Are you talking about the small oval shaped carpet pieces directly behind the driver and passenger seats? Just pinch the carpet with your fingers on one end and pull straight up. It may feel like you're about to break something but the pieces are each held on with small clips.

It's on the driver side carpet. I tried to take off the side panels but I still can't take out the carpet
