tail light blinking
 

After my car had been sitting for about 3 weeks, when I first drove it I noticed that my tail light was blinking as shown in the video below.

Has anyone else ever seen this or is there any way to replace the LEDs? Would I have to replace the entire tail light?

Are you sure its actually blinking? LED's look like that on a video no matter what.

Ha yeah it actually looks exactly as shown. Will try to take another and show the difference between left and right sides.

I have this problem but with the license plate lights. Have you replaced them with LEDs by chance?

If the lights are flickering* as they appear to do in the vid, then I suspect a bad electrical connection.

You don't have to replace the whole assembly. See Owner's Manual or FSM (link in my sig) for instructions.

*Blinking is usually defined as more-or-less periodic in nature.
