Escort 9500ix on mirror mount.
Hey guys,
I was curious to see if any of you had the 9500ix mounted to the rear view mirror and to see if you had any issues getting a gps signal to the unit. |

I had it right under there (attached by suction cuppies tho), but had to move it because I have a Toll Tag sticker. I didn't notice any GPS signal problems, but the manual does say to mount it low on the dash to avoid possible problems. I ended up moving it to be right over the gauge cluster in the center and hard wiring it to the fuse box. I gave up trying to figure out a routing from below the mirror (i have base model so no home-link mirror)

I have the 9500ix mounted on suction cups right at the level of the mirror and use an invisicord tethered to the homelink mirror for power. Works great. As long as the suction cups hold, I'm not going to shell out for a dedicated mirror mount.
