I tried the washer, but I didn't like the fact that it would loosen while I was driving. The loctite keeps it solid and with this knob I don't have to worry about damaging it with a strap wrench.

Just received mine today. Worth every penny, looks and feels amazing!

What's the difference between yours and the ones everyone else are getting? I have a TK shift knob (one of the originals before they were even a thing on this forum; I've had it for years) and I can't tell the difference between that one and the ones from this batch. Not trying to take away from the exclusivity of yours, but I'm just curious as to what the difference is. :wtf2:

Rowen bough Tommy Kaira and this is the first batch made under Rowen management, probably using the same Tommy Kaira factory. So really - no difference. Just under new management.

Wife's observation on the shift knob, " I still don't understand a $250 shift knob, but if some one tries to car jack you and you don't have your gun you can beat them to death with his. It's freaking heavy as hell."
