Where to paint Head lights

Where should I paint my head lights? Who dose it good?

My car is KAD (gunmetal)
What do you think about painting housing same as the car KAD and lens covers in Magnetic black? Will this look good?

When you said painting the lens cover do you mean the clear cover over the entire unit?

sooo once you start developing a haze on the headlights is it there permanently?? I've heard with the headlight restoration kit the haze will eventually return.
