This is how my bumper looked like from the factory. Unacceptable if you asked me. :shakes head:

I don't have this with my bumpers, but the side skirts are a little off from the rest. I've seen this on other colors and on completely different cars all together.

He said that all cars will have some variance and it really depends on tha manufacturing process. It relates to the fact that the paint is being applied to two different types of materials, at different points in time, by different people. He said that even if done in the same place at the same time, the different in material would cause color variation. The color change is probably just more noticeable on a pearl color, especially white, but on most cars, at night, if you take an LED light you can see the difference.

exactly my point

My bumpers are fine, but the side skirts are way off.

Not sure I would agree with this statement. I just got my PW Z Roadster yesterday and my bumper looks as bad as the one a few posts back. I'm sorry but when I drop $45,000 on the top of the line model with every option they have I would like my paint to match up. It looks like I bought a bunch of body kit parts and rattle canned it LOL. Not quite the look I was going for, call me critical but I work at a Honda dealership and we have people freak out on the stupidest things, mis matched paint colors however on a brand new car I feel is a justified issue to be concerned about. I plan to get it fixed by Nissan.

On my p/w Z all the rockers and both bumpers were off so I went ahead and repainted them all(I work in a body shop)the bad news is everybody's bumpers and rocker covers are not going to match, they may match now but over time the plastic the the bumpers & rocker covers are made out of are absorbing the base coat where as the hood.fenders, and so on are not that's why there is a difference in color.
But it is not limited to just the white Z's all colors do the same thing just white is noticed more,on white you can stand next to it and see the difference but when you stand next to silver you don't,you only notice silver is off when you stand 15-20 feet back.

So my fellow QAB owners we are not alone.

There is already a thread on this somewhere, but most Pearl White owners probably see this. Keep in mind that the plastic / metal parts are not painted at the same location or together and there will be color variance.

P.S. I have this also and I believe Caravan said he did as well.

A friend who owns a body shop told me the same thing. You can even notice on the blue cars as well.
