Well that too, but it's not like I'm slinging it around hard corners when it's that low :)

Clearly, someone needs to develop an aftermarket pressurized fuel cell so we can all drive upside-down and not worry (and a dry-sump oil system too). :p

Yeah, I'm having a similar issue, but for me, it's my last led. It just stopped lighting up around 3 fill-ups ago. Somewhat annoying, but I guess I'll just live it it for now.

My z just started to not light up the last light as well. I was hoping it would go away with the next fill but it seems not =(

Same here...last LED and sometimes the second one too.

That happened to me back in October. The first light would not light up after a full fill. Lasted two tanks and hasn't recurred. I guess it healed itself.:bowrofl:

It will stop again, just like mine and all the others.

its under warrenty take it to the dealership

lafd002 02-23-2011 04:30 PM

This is more of a common problem then Nissan is willing to admit. I had my fuel sending unit fail on my 350z (79,000 mi). It seemed to be a common issue among 350z owners. It appears they still have not corrected this issue on the 370. I hope my 370z is still under warranty if the sending unit fails on this car.

I have had the same issue with the LED's. Actually just traded in my 09 coupe for a 10 roadster and the gauge is fine so far...

I'm not that concerned about it as long as it only effects the LEDs at the full end. However, I will mention it to the dealer at my next service and have it fixed before my warrantee runs out. Don't want them touching anything unless it's absolutely necessary.

I have the exact problem...... Sometimes if I'm lucky, you turn the car off and then back on the first led will light and stay on. Other times (most of the time) the first led stays off on mine too.

is there a recall on this sender thing?

spearfish25 04-17-2011 09:54 PM

Nissan makes plenty of fuel senders. Whoever is telling you there is no replacement for your seat heater is yanking your chain. This isn't some limited 30 car run of Bugatti Veyron SSs.

thispecialk 04-27-2011 10:49 AM

so just got my car back from the stealership and they change the whole guage cluster and guess wat the last led still dont work so they want me to bring it back in. i told them about how ppl say its the fuel sender but they wanted to change the whole cluster first. well will see wat they say when i bring it in today again. i dont mind its all under warrenty but only thing sux is i gotta get a rental car and pay for insurance so i lose 9 dollars a day
