Hey guys. Wanted the community's opinion on something. Eventually, I'll want to get the amuse body kit for my Z, but I don't like the spoiler in that set. 14791l.jpg

Thoughts on Wings
Hey guys. Wanted the community's opinion on something. Eventually, I'll want to get the amuse body kit for my Z, but I don't like the spoiler in that set.
14791l.jpg I'm looking for a large wing that won't obstruct the rear view. The view area out the back is small enough as is without something else being in the way. Any ideas as to what wing I should go for and how tall it should be? Thanks in advance.

A few people have duckbill spoilers, they don't obscure the view as much as some other high wings. Though there are some benifits to a higher wing, my Nismo wing perfectly blocks headlights from blinding me at night.

APR wings give the most visibility and functionality. Or you can go aeromotions and pay BIG$$$. Kognition made wings for a while and man were they BIG!!!
If you want a functional wing at a decent price get an APR-GTC300. For Style go with Amuse.

The original nismo body kit is functional, some 140ish lb at 70mph. The amuse kit was wind tunnel tested but can't find any official figures for it. But nothing like a full race setup but that's not what the OP is looking for.

Don't get me wrong here, guys. I'm sure the amuse wing that is part of the kit is very nice and compliments it very well. It's just not the kind of look for my Z that I would prefer when it comes to wings/spoilers. What I would like is something more along the lines of this:
maxresdefault.jpg I've taken a look at the APR-GTC300 that bullitt5897 mentioned, and that looks pretty good. Any idea how high that thing sits above the deck lid? I want to make sure it clears the rear view, and is not right in the middle of it. Like I said, it's hard enough to see out the back of a 370Z without a big horizontal flap in the way. Thanks again for all the input.

as long as it looks like it belongs on the body. Matching lines and flow with the body. Im personally not a fan of the large spoilers people use on the track or when they are ricers.

There are quite a few options like the Amuse, Nismo, and APR wings that you're aware of.
There is also the Carbon Creations N1: The Mines carbon add-on: The Varis GT (which looks like it MAY impair your ability to use the rearview a bit): And the Impul: -Seth

I think the amuse wing fits great with their body kit. IMO it is the best looking aftermarket kit for the 370z but expensive. |
