And if you lose the fangs it doesnt look like everything else. It looks like a 370z without fangs...aka better. Before this turns into a bitching contest, I will say this is just my opinion, you may have a different one...lets keep it civil. Last edited by RCZ; 11-02-2009 at 11:57 PM. |

There is no r-tune 370z body kit. r-tune is how nissan labels their parts to let consumers know it is not street legal.

Never heard of the Nismo car called the R-Tune...its just the Nismo 370...and the lip kit is the 370z S-Tune
Anyway - I think a mix between the Amuse and that subtle looking white one all the way up top would be a slick look

No fangs with a front splitter and canards.

I am very interested in a front fascia that can provide sufficient airflow to any sort of cooler located in front of the radiator.

As far as the nismo design....it's sooo 350z to me! Nismo is really a step backwards in design as far as looks go. Too non-aggressive looking. I'll take the stock fangs any day over the nismo girly look. |

Thank you very much for all of your input! I greatly appreciate it and it will help us design the best body kit possible.
It sounds to me like you guys want something aggressive still. Even if it did away with the fangs but still looked aggressive then it would be a winner? Our number one focus is going to be on function with this fascia. We want to make sure that we pull additional air for better cooling! |

Awesome, yes, no fangs + aggressive + functional (flow and df) = win. Optional canaards would be nice too.
The other thing to discuss is length. I think it should be a little longer and lower than the stock bumper. To me, the stock one seems to end too abruptly and too high near the hood line. I think that will help lessen drag by reducing front surface area...which means easier high speed cruising, better gas mileage and downforce. Discuss. Last edited by RCZ; 11-03-2009 at 05:03 PM. |

I agree ^^^ If we were to lower the front and bring the nose further forward we can lessen the drag issue. Now by adding a front diffuser we can address the down force issue. Also if we were to open smaller side intakes and possibly side exhaust vents we could add to the cooling factor. but this is all speculation of course. Heat extraction hood would work very well with a concentrated center airflow through the nose

I say ditch the fangs. Those who want them can keep the stock facia and do a lip spolier.
Always liked the Nismo Version 2 on the 350, looks similar to what Bster posted with one center airdam. I beleive it was styled after the Super GT Z and had ducting to breaks, oil cooler ect. Zele makes a pretty nice kit too: ZELE 370Z Complete Edition Proto at TAS2009 | Demo Car | NISSAN GT-R Tuning: Zele Performance Global Website By the way I think those dual titanium tips look hot! i like "Do you like the fangs but you would be willing to sacrifice them for better cooling (brakes, engine oil, radiator, possible intercooler?)"
