Replacing/Fixing Drivers Side Window
Hey everyone, my girlfriends ex-husband decided to be childish today and punched my drivers side window a couple of times. There are 3 cracks in it that look like rock chips you would get on the front windshield. I know I could probably go through insurance to fix it, but I was wondering if anyone knows if that resin you can use for cracks on the windshield would do any good on this to try to save money? I already know I'm going to have to get the tint re-done.

Why aren't you calling the cops and make the bastard pay for it?

They did show up and said if I wanted him arrested they would have to arrest my girlfriend for pushing him earlier. He doesn't have any money so not worried about it.

According to cars.com, "If your windshield or another window on your car has suffered some sort of stress that has led to a crack, hole or other damage, consider purchasing one of several leading auto glass repair kits." (my emphasis). But I can't vouch for that, so YMMV.
Edit: Oops! Looks that only applies to the Equalizer Auto Glass Repair Kit. |
