Nissan Murano Altima Infiniti QX 56 FX 35 45 50 Xenon Ballast Control Unit | eBay

Would this one be okay to buy? The part number ends with A on this listing but the official part number should end with B.

It is also nearly 1/4 the price of getting from somewhere more reputable as well.

There is a 14-day return policy with 20% restocking so I am tempted to try it.

The Retrofit Source might have some compatible ballasts from other cars. You can get them real cheap since they pull them off junkers.

I bought the ebay ones earlier today. It says they are compatible and it seems like they are pulled from junkers as well.

Hopefully everything works out but I see that Retrofit site has a pair for $170.

I don't know if it's true for all Nissan parts but a letter suffix usually indicates revision level. Usually best to go with the latest revision but if you're getting it for 75% off it may be worth it. You may need to change the lamp if there is enough difference between a rev A and a rev B.

Thanks, I will keep you in mind if my guy tells me the install failed.

A cop pulled me over and notified me of my headlight. I checked a day later and it was working again. And then I noticed it stopped working a few days later. I'm hoping that is reminiscent of a ballast problem. My guy told me that it isn't the bulbs. I had a little incident with the fender/bumper area so I'm hoping it isn't yet another problem I have to deal with.
