Z logos to replace hamburgers
I'm hoping someone can jump in and comment on either of the two logos I'm looking at in the link below. (#1128 or #1160) I seem to recall reading in a prior thread that the CF backing on the 1160 was cheap looking and I'll want to replace it.
I'd kind of prefer to use the 1160 and it's rear twin, but the full CF one (1128) is starting to grow on me despite double the price. It's only money anyway, right? I know there are guys (gals) who have bought these items. Anyone able to bring me up to speed? Are either of these of decent quality? Are there other logos like these that are better somewhere? Motorsport! 370Z Emblems - The Z Store, Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts Thanks 104 |
i got these Motorsport! Big "Z" Front Emblem, Black with Black Carbon Fiber, 09-15 370Z - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts on my pw Z and they look good to me. the carbon fiber back does fee cheap and flimsy but i read somewhere it was real cf. either way its been over 2 years and it still looks new. if i could change anything i wish i would have color matched the cf back so it highlighted the big Z more.

I am considering getting a big Z with no background, like the one here: EVO-R INC. Nissan 370Z Z34 Z Emblem Front and Rear Unlike the one from Z Store (Motorsport! 370Z "Z" Logo Rear Emblem, Chrome, 09-15 370Z - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts), it does not cover the same area the original hamburger meat did. Will there be some alignment pins or anything else behind the original hamburger that I will have to worry about showing through?

I heard that the carbon fiber background peeled off for some people so be careful for that. I got the chrome Z emblem and they are pretty nice, the only part or emblems I didn't like was taking off the old hamburgers.

The rear will have 2 plastic bumps that will have to be shaved, filled AND painted. The front has a gaping hole that I dont know what to do with. |
You are replying to a thread that is a year old. Just FYI.
