Last night we decided to remove the front number plate bracket on my car and underneather the bracet there is the square number plate holder in which thebracket goes on

Holes in front bumper!!!
Last night we decided to remove the front number plate bracket on my car and underneather the bracet there is the square number plate holder in which thebracket goes on to but... beneath that the are two reasonably large holes in the bumber! they are cut very uniform looks like factory done i will get a picture later to show you.. Any one notice this or know why its done..
they are here on the car..  Maybe has something to do with jap spec?... How can i check if my car is JDM??
