What's in your garage - lighting
What kind of lighting do you use in your home garages? Overhead wattage, shop lights, etc. I have a fully closed garage, no natural light and want best lighting for waxing, detail, minor maintenance. So lighting is my main question, but any garage configuration advice/ pics appreciated.

A few fluorescents

The 24X24 attached garage is not near as bad as the above, it only has 7 fluorescent fixtures. But it is just used to park every day cars.

The 24x24 attached is closer to my space. Nice setup. I'm thinking two bay lights, each with 4 5900K daylight fluorescent tubes. I've got a power garage door unit, rail etc which might throw a shadow if the bays are ceiling mounted so I like the idea of the vert work lights, too. A couple of portables might cancel out those shadows - sort of like three point video lighting, I would think. What about heat? I know FL is cooler, but that's a lot of light. Are you under air?

About your last question: "Are you under air?" Yes and hanging heater also. BTW, I have piped air from the attached garage to the Shop so I do not have to listen the the Compressor when it turns on. A tip; To cut down on 50% of the compressor noise. Pipe the Compressor Air intake to the outside of your garage or shop.
