I am about to have a CBE amongst other things installed, but my favorite, first, less-expensive upgrade so far has been a performance clutch/flywheel.

K&Ns are a no brainer.

Wheels and suspension first............... ALWAYS!!! Who cares about going fast if your not looking good while your doing it, besides, you already bought a performance car in the Z itself, it's not like you bought a Civic and wanna go fast and depending on your previous cars a Z is pretty quick out the box for most.

My Z is quick for sure! Let's see, my last 3 rides were:
PT Cruiser
Nissan Rogue
Honda Civic :rofl2:

wheels/lowered/exhaust for sure.

wheels and lowered will make your Z stand out from the standard ones, and exhaust is a given, stock exhaust is just not suited to a sports car, first time my niece's dad was like awesome car! start her up and let me have a listen, it was basically silent haha.

Now it sounds like a real sports car!

z1 25 row oil cooler with all the upgraded options

Dealer has them! They gave em to me for free! (kinda fudged my warranty to do it) I put them in myself! (it took about 30 seconds lol)

I thought chops was selling those clear rubber shoes to improvise?
Check the FS section.

BlackZeda 07-02-2015 08:28 AM

Speaking of a no-brainer, I just ordered a RJM Clutch Pedal System.

It seems like a very reasonable upgrade.

Mods

I heavily modded my last car but my Roadster is so nice stock, there is not a lot I want to do to it.

However, I am addicted to modding so...

1- Hood struts. Why, oh, why did Nissan not go with these stock. I really dislike that silly prop bar.
2- Windows tinted.
3- I just ordered wheel spacers. HR 20 front and 25 rear. I am waiting for them.
4- Blacked out front and back emblems.

I think there really is not any "best mods" and seeing as everyone is different, you should go with what you want. Only you could know that.

Oh and welcome to Z land!

Swift Spec R + SPL Rear Camber Arms + SPC Toe Bolts
20mm DRS + 25mm DRM H&R Spacers

Boom you should be set for a bit!

After that, maybe an exhaust :)

Learn how to keep it clean and swirl free! Adamspolishes.com and see "the junkman" in the detailing section. Then...lower it, get spacers and cat back exhaust.
