Cubby compartment
 

Does any one here knows what is behind the compartment above the radio? only reason why I'm asking is because I would like to be able to cut a hole to extend the length of the compartment by a few inches but don't want to damage anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

There is not much space back there, but there is some. Definitely take the whole panel off if you are going to cut it. The whole thing comes out pretty easily and will be much easier to work with on a bench. I am sure there is a how-to on the board somewhere.

yah, i think i remember seeing a brace behind there. definitely take it off the car, measure everything before cutting.

dont forget to plug in the SRS warning lamp on the passenger side (round thing) before u turn ur car on... otherwise ull get a dtc.
