I guess Knio and myself are just unlucky then. I had to replace my windshield a couple years ago due to the same exact thing happening. Just a coincidence that our windshields cracked in the same place as well?
I expressed concerns about the uneven surface before jacking up my Z but a buddy that was there to help with an install assured me that it would be fine. However that proved to not be the case.

Not a coincidence. Windshields crack for different reasons, but not from jacking up the car at the factory jack points.
Unless you install a brand new glass properly and recreate the crack by jacking up the car at the jack points, it is just pure speculation. |

My statement still stands. I didn't say any one wasn't jacking the car up from any other location but the factory jack points. To prevent this from happening in the future only jack the vehicle up on a flat surface is all I am stating. It is common knowledge and I am sure in the owner's manual. However I was led to believe from a friend that a tiny indifference from the garage to driveway wouldn't hurt anything. Maybe I need to reevaluate the whole friends aspect....

You believe what you want to believe which is all good.
You're right that it is common knowledge not to jack up the car on any incline because it is dangerous, you can get killed or injured when the car fall off the jack. Quote:

If someone were to really jack their vehicle up on the side of hill I don't think any discussion is going to fix that kind of stupid. I am talking about the flat surface in question being on the same plane. Case in point look at the OP's attached picture. The difference in the garage floor and the driveway is not on the same plane. Once you are on the driveway it begins to slope. You may choose not to believe that this is an issue but I am telling you that it is.
