OLDER POST

So guys we have been working on a lip-kit for the new Nismo finalized it and car is getting painted now.

We kept it very simple as stock lines are very busy and as always wanted to flow better giving a neater look

Kit consists of 3 piece lip, side blades, diffuser, LEDs with brakcet.

Lip is of three pieces so can be installed with or without middle piece.

Side blades are half the length of stock following some body lines

Diffuser is more like a functional one and flows nicely with the rear bumper

Also prepared a LED bracket sits flush with the hole can be used with LEDs or a plain blocking piece to close the stock hole

was hoping for more of a wrap around rear diffuser, to bring the back bumper more in line with the rest of the kit. Curious to see all of this painted as I have a hard time picturing the front w/the factory red accents in the middle

Asheth 06-10-2015 01:36 PM

Subbed. I need to see it painted also red inserts and then an extended piece hmm. They may to carbon fiber on the lip which would be with their other products. Just the middle on the kit could add a nice little touch also.

Anthony@Royal 06-10-2015 02:16 PM

Looks sharp!

Carbon may be one of the tricks to pull it off. I was also thinking matching it to the dark grey inserts would be an option

We spent literally 2 weeks on the diffuser with so many options spats full wrap but couldnt come up with something which was comfortable as bumper has far too many lines anything big or wider hides some nice lines, the kit was supposed to be done in 2-3 weeks time because customer wanted the car back quick and we have some other RND jobs going on.

the whole kit will be in Carbon Fiber for this car atleast so for painted you guys need to wait till we install it on some other car.

Interestingly lip looks good either with only side parts or middle and side parts, we also tried to make the kit small to save on shipping

OldBonesMcGee 06-11-2015 10:05 AM

Does the front lip actually make the front end any closer to the ground? It looks as though it just makes the bottom of the bumper stick out forward a bit more?

Cheers

Dan

Waiting on the lights....

OldBonesMcGee 07-02-2015 09:37 AM

Its been a day or two, show us the pics :D

CarbonSignal 07-04-2015 11:42 PM

Waiting for LEDs, customer opted to bring his own so waiting. Its Ramadan timing here so work hours are less

Japanjay 07-05-2015 02:39 PM

So my question is, will the pictures show his LEDs in it or what you guys are selling? I am interested in product that is sold, not some custom one off job.

bullitt5897 07-06-2015 05:45 AM

I would flatten out and straighten the center section of the front lip... It will be a cleaner look.

KaienZ34 07-07-2015 09:52 PM

Making me want the front bumper so I can get this lip.

LostSol 07-08-2015 12:02 PM

Just got my 15 bumper on. I like the what Im seeing on these pics for the LED's. Any idea on timeline or price?

There is a shot posted on our FB and Instagram page showing lip sides and LEDs, car is ready but after waiting for a while we will be using our LEDs. We usually post more update there in FB and Instagram as its easier ;)

The LEDs bracket is just placed there not fitted yet.

As said above we will use HELLA LEDAYFLEX, as you cant get any better quality :tiphat:

Either customer buys from us or can get it driectly at 200$ a pair its a very good price. Bracket we will sell same in FRP or CF with paint option. it sits really flush with the bumper

We didn't want to loose any bumper lines and make it more like any universal splitter lots of companies sell even though that's a much easier and quicker way of doing it.

We still like it more without the middle piece more.

Maybe something like this.
( Click to show/hide )

Since the lip is three pieces maybe make more than one version of the middle part.

^You ain't never lie lol

I bet this looks sweeter in person than it does in the pictures.

Just a thought. I think it would be interesting to see the stock 15+ nismo spoiler with add ons! :) Hint Hint CS! lol

CS 15 Nismo Lipkit.....WIP thread

CarbonSignal, this looks perfect!

One thing I would be more interested to see, as I do not plan to use the LED's with the front bumper, would it be possible to have the LED's produced with amber bulbs? Probably a stretch but thought I would toss up the idea, as I would prefer to use it for blinker use only, personally.

We are getting LEDs for HELLA one of the best in the market, size is universal you can also get any and install it.

LEDayFlex | HELLA

One other thing can be done is to close the holes in the piece to use it as normal no need for LEDs

Smashley 08-18-2015 11:21 PM

Would a LED bar similar to the chargers be possible?

No plans but if someone send us the LEDs we can look into customizing it as a custom order

titto503 08-19-2015 06:32 PM

When the kit will be for sale?

Zbrah 08-19-2015 06:38 PM

This is what I love about Carbon Signal. You guys are the only manufacturer that listens to the end user's idea and incorporate them into your kit. You give us exactly what we want. It's nice to have that option being a tuner. Keep up the great work guys!
