^^ I'm glad I'm not the only one w/ this issue. I thought it was the seats at first, but it took me hours to figure out a way to get the seats in and lined up properly.

I just did a quick price check for our stock seats, and it's already over $1300 for the seat cushion assembly. I don't even want to know what the premium is for NISMO seats. That's like Bride territory. Bride Cuga with suede material... :yum:

[EDIT] Apparently there's already a thread on aftermarket seats:

i checked out the cost of the 2015 Nismo seats: almost $7 grand EACH!
Nissan won't sell the whole seat, you have to buy all the parts individually. The aftermarket seats look great and cost about half as much, still too rich for my blood.

If you're only looking to upgrade your stock cloth seats to leather/leather-suede, you can have really nice seats even cheaper yet by going with an aftermarket upholstery vendor like I did. I went with Leatherseats.com, very happy.

From what I've seen on the net, it seems wedge is the way to go. It sits about 1" higher than stock. I do agree, that the buddy club's are very low, I'm about 6" (5 11 3/4 to be exact.)

so im guessing wedges comes with base and slider and can use the recaro side mount plate for my bucket seat?

mag_black 06-06-2015 07:49 PM

yes, exactly.

I am 6'1" and I have the bride euroster seats with bride rails and I have plenty of room. It's kinda tight with my Helmet on tho

I'm around 180cm tall and have the bride zeta III (standard size) with bride RO rails i think. It sits lower than stock seat 100%.

In the stock seats i sometimes hit the roof with a helmet on so im assuming in the brides i won't have this issue.

Edit: installation was probably the easiest thing to date I've done. Probably because the rails were suited for z34 and the particular bride seat
