Nissan emblem (hamburger) lettering

Hey all,

Strange question, I tried searching...

Does anyone have any links or anything to where I can find the NISSAN lettering for the front and rear emblems, in vinyl?

The lettering on the oem emblem, is black against the chrome face. I am planning to dip the emblems a dark gunmetal color that is actually the same color as my wheels. I wanted to put black lettering back over the dip, for some contrast.

I saw red lettering, that fit a Maxima. That was it.

Anyone aware of something like that?

Rip them off and go after market. Is my 2 cents...there is a big selection to choose from that will have that contrast you are seeking.

I have never heard of it. I have seen a few people paint theirs with a brush.

Contact a vinyl shop in you area, I am sure they can do it for you.

I've seen most of them out there. And most modified Z's I see, have something black. IMO its been over done. Not to mention there's no way in hell I'm spending $150 on black emblems for a couple pieces of plastic.

My wheels are dipped a custom dark gunmetal color. I wanted the hamburger to match it, but retain the black letters. If I can't, I cant

I might. Dip peels right off, and costs very little, even custom colors. I might do it and see how it looks, if I get tired of it or what to mix it up, I can just peel it right off. Its why I didn't powdercoat my wheels. :ugh2:
