I just saw a setup similar to this one with the shifter and boot on an auto 350Z yesterday and I thought it looked pretty nice. It's by MOMO. The only difference was the boot was black and the shifter was a straight cylinder. What do you guys think?

the delrin we have at work must be industrial grade then it's white, self-lubricating tough as hell, hard to turn a finish on, and makes better bushings than it does high quality interior pieces, either way alcantra would plow plastic out of the water for feel/finish, why not get it recovered?

Here is a pic of an auto with a boot, it's not needed it will just dress up the area if you don't want to cut the shaft to make it lower. If someone else drives your car and doesn't know the auto gear pattern of P-R-N-D, then they shouldn't be driving at all.
