Black or Gray interior on Red Touring?
For those who purchased the 370z in solid red Touring, which interior did you get (black or Gray) and why??
|
i have a red touring and went with the black leather. i just luv the color combo, also i think gray might get dirty faster. good luck with your pick

black. looks cleaner, and meshes with the black fang and finishes i have on the exterior.

I have a Solid Red Touring model. To be honest, in early January it was the only 370Z that the dealer had and it happened to have a black leather interior. Since it was the exterior color I wanted and was equipped the way I wanted it (Touring, 7AT, non-Sport, no NAV), I bought it. In retrospect though, if actually given the choice, I'd opt for the black.

Gray only
GRAY........................!
I pre-ordered an 03 Red Touring in 02 and I ordered it with the Gray interior. In my mind it was the only correct choice. When it came time to trade the 350 for an 09 370 Touring I had the dealer find me one with again, Gray interior. I have had cars in the past that had dark interiors and it was no joy in the summer months when that black leather was closed up for several hours.......... Plus, that black interior makes the interior so dark you can't see at night or for that matter during the day either. the Gray's not hard to keep clean and dust and dirt wipes right off. Just don't wait for several months before you clean it. Ground in dirt doesn't want to come out of even black.... :twocents: :tiphat: |
Sorry for voting, i have not purchased my Z yet, approx 1 year away, but I think the gray would look nice.

I honestly believe the best color for the interior in the Solid Red is BLACK. I fell in love with how it looks and that's exactly how mine is.
Gray interior is beautiful but I'd say not for the Soid Red. It looks amazing on the Magnetic Black though. Just my 2 cents.. |
Thanks guys. I think I made my decision. I was leaning toward Gray because Black is just too dark and makes the car's interior look somewhat darker and narrower/tighter/smaller than it really is. The gray definately brightens it up and makes the details more pronounced especially the doors where in black the door inserts are invisible, but the other worry is how would the gray look when it looses its luster in a couple of years of w&t.
Thanks. Your inputs are greatly appreciated. |
