Got a little creative!
Decided to repaint my rear bumper..... Its about time to fix the crappy Nissan paint. I decided to get a little creative and paint my go kart frame.
My Z is not daily driven before anyone says anything about the crash beam! I'm actually liking this look and plan on making a custom exhaust for this setup. My intentions are to be able to quickly snap the rear bumper on when I want the more mature look lol. I did a complete shave down and Bondo to the rear frame. Shaved nearly 100lb off her. She feel so much more responsive in the rear and powerful. That power to weight ratio thoooo. I'm running -2.5 rear camber and plan on moving from 20mm spacers down to 10mm and put more positive camber on the setup with larger tires because I can literally drift this thing like no tomorrow. I will also be playing with a few different color schemes. I have Neo Chrome and Nebula Red ready to go when I decide to make the change. Car sounds amazing btw without the muffler. These are color shifts..... Enjoy guys, Last edited by RyanWest; 05-04-2015 at 02:12 AM. |

Wow. Interesting. Did you somehow support your "exhaust" ends. I worry about your cat flanges.

The idea is to be different. I've driven around town like this the last couple of days and have had so many people say how awesome it looks. This is art to me man, Why not be different.
Why not save 100 lbs off the car. To me my Z is a go kart. It is a garage queen that I play with here and there. But no I'm not going to drive around like this all the time. |

It sure looks different, the color is awesome and the color change is phenomenal. Who knows, maybe the next thing would be no front bumper and after that could be no doors and then eventually all the exterior panels. Creativity is a wonderful feature that we humans cannot manipulate.
