Check for dead critters too. Have removed a few from the fan cages.

Eh ended up going lazy way. Threw on 2x Glade Car Freshiners. They were on sale at costco. My car smells like brand new laundry detergent now. Everytime when I open that door.. DAMN MT.EVEREST IN HERE ANYBODY?

Umm... if you have nasty mold or $hit growing on the evap coils, you haven't done anything to solve the underlying problem. You've just masked the problem and are allowing it to get worse

On a real note. I realized that when I turn my car off and ac is still on. Smell occurs. If i turn off car when ac is off mode. It smells alright.

You really need to FIX the problem or, as others have mentioned, it will just get worse.

First thing I'd do is make sure the drain is flowing freely. If that doesn't clear up the problem then I'd look into cleaning/disinfecting the evap and housing.

Make sure your cabin air filter is clean. A filter with activated carbon may help.
