Paddle shifters
Bought a 15' base 7a/t that does not have paddle shifters.
Does anyone know how difficult it would be to add them? I could get used to the shifter, but I have been an online racer for years and have become very proficient with paddle shifting. |
LOLLLLLLLL, I forgot they took out the paddles in the new base 7ATs!!!
Good luck brother! You're in a small group of owners. One of you has to be the trail blazer |

Use the shift lever.

It's probably extremely easy. 350Zs, which never came with paddle shifters, had easy kits available for them. And when people took the steering wheel apart, they noticed it had slots for where OEM Infiniti shifters went in.
Take a risk and buy the OEM paddles online somewhere (all Nissan or Infiniti shifters are the same) - all you'd need after that is the wiring...that is assuming that the harness doesn't already exist and isn't tucked away somewhere around the dash. A lot of times that is the case. |

I had no idea the 2015 has no Paddle Shifters. Sorry bro! Hopefully you can find a way to add it back on. If you go to the track you'll need the paddles for sure. SO much more fun!

How did it go? can you share the info you found? I found THIS which may help?

I was planning to post a detailed how-to, I am waiting for the lower shroud to come, none of the dealers carried it in stock and had to be shipped from Japan. Stay tuned. |
For those of you wondering if this was every resolved, the answer is YES. Marrawi did a complete DIY video that simplifies the conversion.
My parts arrive next week, looking forward to finally getting this done. http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...-2015-a-2.html |
