Airbag Light after Racing Seats
As many know, the airbag light flashes after putting in racing seats. I think the 350Z had a wiring harnness to correct the problem.
I know about the DIY thread for the airbag light after racing seat install. I'm just wondering if anyone know of a part to buy the simplify the process rather than use parts from my old seats. I would like to put old seats back in when I sell my car. Any ideas? |

Search is your friend ...................
enter the following to Google "the370z.com airbag light aftermarket seats" and Google will take you here: DIY: [How-To:] Racing Seat airbag light fix Then you will see how to fix your problem ... If you wish to "Reuse" the Nissan plug, then find a wrecker and get the plugs from seats out of a wrecked car ..... or purchase plugs from Nissan (won't be cheap though) Last edited by BGTV8; 04-23-2015 at 02:42 AM. |

Thank you. They are Status GT-X seat. I had the done in gunmetal grey and black, all suede leather.
As I say in my post, I know about and have read the DIY fix thread, asking if anyone know if a harness is being marketed. But I'm afraid it isn't being made. Sorry, just came from being a Mustang owner, a million mods for every little thing . |

Your airbags won't work though. Not sure I'd sacrifice safety here.

Wuss. Didn't have airbags until the late 80's. I survived.

Nissan Motorsports makes a plug in part specifically for that. I just saw it this week while looking through their website. I don't have the link here at work but I'll look for it when I get home.

You still need the passenger sensor. That is just a 4.7ohm resistor. It'll still blink until you plug in the passenger sensor and also use those resistors.
