Cloth interior people....

For those of you with the cloth seats and have put on thousands of miles.. how are the cloth seats holding up to stains, tears, fraying, losing its shape, etc???

I try to be as careful as possible and really dont want to damage them or tear any stitching, etc.. what are your experiences? any tips?

I have 8k on mine. I usually go to the gym every other day and the sweat sometimes will leave a stain if u leave it on there without cleaning it. The sun will make it turn whitish. I wipe down the seats and the cloth on the door with an interior cleaner every week. But no tears or anything like that, they are holding up great.

I drive naked, no stains yet, I try not to fart.

Just like the 350

Gang,

Remember, these seats are just like the ones in the 350.....! If you get into the car by sliding your butt down the bolster you will wear it out in no time at all. You need to get into the car like you get out..! Back into the car and sit down, then turn. If you don't you will be replacing the seat cover quicker than you want to.

12000 miles and perfect seats. I do not get in the "proper way" (see above), either.

i have had no problems the only thing that annoys me is when the door panels get white from dry skin i guess. but i'm glad i went with cloth because every time i get in a hot car with leather now my back gets sticky

Any one try katzkin seat covers. Could be an option if really worried about it.

I've had my Z for two weeks now, from what I notice that the cloth interior gets whitish like sweat stain but when I washed my car today I wiped down the cloth seats with a damp towel and shwing it's all gone and it brings it back to it's original color. And I try to be as careful getting in / out of the car but sometimes you forget I'd say I'm more forgetful than careful sometimes :ughdance: I think with proper care (cleaning / wiping it down) the seats should last a long time.

my Z's interior is super clean. considering my hobby cars usually looks brand new inside/out even after 5-6yrs i dont think it will be any different on my Z. :p
