THE easy way to remove shift knob with out damaging it

Hi I just installed my NISMO shift knob today, looking at all these problems people have in taking off the OEM one, I want to share a tip with you guys.

I found it very easy to get a good grip by wrapping a micro fiber towel around the stock shift knob. The microfiber towel grips on the leather part of the stock knob very tightly, and by wrapping the entire towel on the knob you get a bigger area to grab on to. I was able to grab and twist the knob that is wrapped with the towel with both hand without slipping. this should ensure you do not damage the stock knob when u are removing it.
