Show Us Your Roll Bar
7 Attachment(s)
There seems to be quite a few people interested in roll bars regardless if they are for show or for go. I think it's worth noting from the beginning that not all roll bars are safe and that you should provide within your posting if the roll bar is a custom bar and if it can be certified to meet SCCA, NASA or other certification. For roll bars produced by a manufacture (auto shop) please let us know who they are, is it bolt on or welded and if the bar is or can be certified.
My bar is produced rpm rollbars and they state: Look no further at so called NHRA/SCCA legal roll bars. This is the only 100% welded, 100% legal, 100% removable, built to SFI standards, on the MARKET and in the INDUSTRY. We guarantee the bar will pass tech, or we'll buy it back! 5 Point NHRA Legal, including door swing out, with standard coating. 6 Point and 4 Point options are available along with SCCA and NASA cross bar. No thread is to dead to revive at least once. There has been some chatter on the forum about the need for a bolt in roll bar and specific references to the RPM roll bar. I contacted them to day to see if they are still producing bolt on 4 point roll bars for the the 370z. The person on the phone, Dave laughed and said yes we do, there is one sitting right in front of me ready to be powder coated. He was happy to here that there was discussion about there products and said if there was enough interest that he would do a group buy .
He provide the following information: The thing that seperates us is our bar is one piece tig welded. NO slip tubes or weak points. It can be had in a 4, 5, or 6pt. ANY color powder is included in the price. Mild steel (DOM) or 4130 chromoly. Below are some pictures that he provided me for your viewing!!! |
