I think you would have issues with any 6 point bar with aftermarket seats. The side bars and the seat backs being in the same location.

It is the shoulder bolstering that is the issue. The OEM seat doesn't flare like race seats do.

This has put a damper on this subject for me. It is just about impossible to have a dual purpose car. Street car or Race car. Take your pick. You can't do both correctly.

Street car.......................I..................Track car.

The more you move the mark to the right. The less it is to the left. What compromises you want to make.

I may do a 4 point with an SCCA crossbar. Who knows. Aggravated with it at the moment. I may say the heck with it and run nothing.

Should include that in your website. If it's there. I didn't see it.

Yeah, we definitely need to get that updated, along with updated photos. Haven't updated much on there since we first released it. Have much more info since the release and real life use/testing/inspections since.

Thanks everyone for the support

What's nice about our cage is the fact that its easily "daily drivable" without really noticing. You lose 1 click on your slider on your OEM seat due to the main hoop needing to mount to the floor behind the seat(depending on if you have OEM seats or aftermarket). Most aftermarket seats curve and avoid it all together without any restrictions. We also put the main hoop angle where you don't need to worry about hitting your head without a helmet. This is the biggest reason I advise people to stick with a 4pt vs a full cage on the street is you actually make the car more susceptible to injury vs adding more safety.

In and out of the car, zero affect. Drive ability, zero affect. We truly market our cage as we feel the Z should just come with it in it from the factory

Does your cage add any lateral chassis stiffness?

Of course. It'd completely replace the need for a strut bar, or any reinforcement bars since we completely connect and add rigidity connecting the two strut towers and reinforcing them up towards the front of the car preventing chassis flex.
