Default Tail light blackout/tinting.

So since i have the 40th i would like my tail lights to blend in a bit more. i was wondering what is the best method to tinting/blackout of the tail lights. IT HAS TO BE REVERSIBLE NO PAINT! I want the reverse lights to be white and visible (stock look).

Two options: vinyl tint or plasti dip. Youtube should have some examples for you to follow. Good luck!

Vinyl tinting offers different shades of darkness you can choose from and probably is the better choice since you want it glossy. Plasti dip is rather a flat or matte finish, there are glossifier that you can use to give a gloss look but I've heard that using glossifier may make it harder to remove later.

B@t can have it pre cut and leaving the reverse light area expose the way you wanted, just make sure to let him know.

I don't have first hand experience with B@t's vinyl so I can't speak on that But a lot of guys on the forum get theirs from him and I haven't seen any complaints about quality, a couple bad reviews had to do with installing issue but the vendor followed through and made sure they were satisfied.

*On a side note, I have customers who still have their Overlays from 2004, and still going strong!

after looking through all those pictures i was wondering if its possible to do these? i want the back lights to almost blend in with the paint of the car. i own the 40th edition. as for the reverse lights. if i could get that light of a tint in there too i think it would look bad @ss.
