How to practice plasti dipping?

I used 1 can per wheel. Don't be conservative and evenly multi-coat that bad boy as thick as Kim Kardashian's make up. I had mine for well over a year

I used 1 can per wheel. Don't be conservative and evenly multi-coat that bad boy as thick as Kim Kardashian's make up. I had mine for well over a year and it's still rock solid. Just be sure to coat the entire wheel including the back side. (yes, take off your wheel when you apply it) If you only coat the front side, it will eventually peel from the corner edges. If you coat the entire wheel, front and back, the wheel is well protected and has no "edges" to be caught by dirt and debris.

My is plastidip never looks nice. It looks like plastic sprayed out of a can. Because that's what it is. It looks average at best. Consider paint or powdercoat - they look much, much better.
