Whats your favorite OTC wax/polish
 

Taking the Z to a stock car show on Sunday. Part of the judging process is how clean your car is. I have been a detailing buff for years but with black cars. I pretty much stick with over the counter stuff you can get at wal mart/pep boys/autozone etc. Ive decided to clay my car and wash with dish soap. After that I will wax/polish it from head to toe. So far I have used Meguiars tech wax 2.0, astro shield, and turtle wax platinum on my silver Z. Just curious what everyone else is getting good results with, especially on their silver/white/pg Z's. My favorite wax of all time is Meguiars gold class, but I have only used it on black cars. Right now I am Leaning towards a full coat of Tech Wax 2.0, followed by several months of Eagle One Nanowax spray/ Ultimate Quick Wax, but not 100% sure. Let the discussion begin.

P.S.- Throw in your favorite tire wet (one that doesnt sling all over the car AND lasts!!!)

Meguire's is good too but I like Mothers..........they seem to have a product for just about anything. Got the tip from some dude who had a pristine car in a Concours I went to awhile back. :tiphat:

wow!!! i almost forgot about them... they are awesome too id love to give a nice coat of wax to my z hopefully this weeek end....

for off the counter i would use NXT Techwax as well.
