Tow hook licence plate bracket?
I've bought two of these from different online sellers and both came with the same bolt that was too large to screw into the threads. Does anyone know where I can buy one that will actually FIT my vehicle?
Worst part with the second one was that I actually called the store, ran the first problem by them, and they said theirs was 'completely different' than the photos of the first one I sent. When I got the second one it was the same identical kit with the same bolt as the first one. Any info would be appreciated, thanks. |

Modify existing
You can modify the one you have by drilling new holes in it above the existing one, thus lowering the plate so it does not rest on the painted part of your bumper. It will still be centered, but not resting against your paint. I've had the same problem with the bolt that does not screw into mount.

there is a company call http://www.moweraxle.com/...mower axle something...for 99 bucks+ tax +paypal....
Fit perfectly for my 2012 370Z. i do i little bit research before buying and then i choose them, very nice quality. the hardest part of doing it yourself is to find the size of bolt to screw into towhook, then you have to do welding(something that you can not) i giveup after many time come to homedepot if you are nismo or amuse,stillen...make sure you choose the nismo edition Last edited by dkinghl; 02-21-2015 at 11:09 PM. |

Ok, never mind my stupid question, I looked it up now I know what a tow hook license bracket is . It makes it so you can mount your License plate on either side of the front of the Z.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up ordering a stainless steel m24 bolt from a local fastener shop along with a separate 12 gauge metal license plate bracket and am fabricating my own.
I was going to go with the Stillen but this way the end result will be the same and I'll have an extra $60 in my pocket. |

I went with this one from GMG Motorsports that I found on Amazon. It was easy to install and has held up well for the last 9 months on my 2014 base coup.
